Welcome to my Shadowrun home on the Internet. Here's what I have to offer:

If you are looking for guns and gear and toys and programs and that sort of thing, you're not really in the right place, I've only got a few bits like that, and only recently added (though written quite some time ago). But even though I've added these bits, they aren't the focus of this site. Wander over to Deep Resonance and check out either TSS Productions or the Shadowrun Archive if you are looking for that sort of thing. With some exceptions, I've got something different in mind for my place.

The primary reason for the creation of this site are my observations, thoughts, ideas, rants and opinions regarding the milieu of Shadowrun. What sort of sexual attitudes do the folks in Awakened 2060 have and what sort of cyberware and adventures can come out of "mature subject matter?" Is it really okay to gun down corporate security guards? What sort of affect does racism have on the people of 2060? What's life like for the upright uptight citizens that are the everyday average Joe Six-Packs of Shadowrun? THAT'S what this site is all about, making the fictional world of Shadowrun that much more realistic. Bugger stuff like hit-location charts; those things just add complexity to the game which just isn't my cup of tea; I have a hard enough time remembering all the rules as it is. This is info that can be used for inspiration for adventures, characters, world background and more in-depth and colorful ROLE-playing.

It's Shadowrun Park! original art by BRIAN JAMESON

I've got a few magic related items that originally appeared in the now-defunct "Shadowlands" magazine. One's a fictional essay on the Cycle of Magic, another has some new magic stuff that I based around some somewhat obscure events (though I'll bet you know the major storyline that I called the Diaspora.

Here's a collection of second tier corporations to help fill out your corporate world and a couple of new Seattle Hot Spots that, both of which also appeared in "Shadowlands" (though they have been slightly updated since their original publication). I believe that FASA still may technically own the copyright on these, and if so and if they'd like me to take them down, no problem. Otherwise, I'll keep them up here for your perusal, since I did write them.

Here's a 2057 take on real historical secret societies in relation to the Threats Sourcebook that came out a while back.

Eventually, at Avenger's urging I may be doing a new California Free State sourcebook in the new "Target:" style, or at least rewriting the bits that have to do with my home area, SoCal (that's Southern California for the rest of you). This will be a long work in progress, but keep checking here every now and again to see what I've got. Or at least that's the plan.

And we have our first guest column, written by a fine fellow currently residing in Ireland I believe, Martin Steffens. A smart fellow, he and I agree quite a lot (which is why he's smart of course) on matters of Shadowrun life; here are his observations regarding cyberware and the average citizen of 2060.

I created some interesting characters for the 1998 San Diego ComicCon Shadowrun game that I ran. I may use them again in 1999, but I've put them up here along with some new character ideas in the hope that some of my character concepts might be of use or inspiration to others. 21 in all right now. Virtually all of them have stats, but I'm not including those here. I'm not giving you the characters, I'm trying to give you inspiriation to create your own. But take a look.

I wrote about 8,000 words for my part of "Corporate Download." Only about 6,000 or so made it, primarily due to space reasons. Depending on the will of Mike Mulvihill, I'll either put some of those unused and excess words here, or link directly to them on FASA's site from here (I hope anyway). I'm guessing some of it may appear on the FASA site and some of it, well, Mike probably just didn't like. Those parts I hope to include here (with his permission of course), but don't get your hopes up.

I've also hidden a few pages on the site. Hidden? Yes, in that they are not listed on the main navbar to the left and can only be accessed via the specific referring page. Yes, I planned it that way. You'll have to stay alert when cruising the site.
